About Me

I am a fight fan from way back. Some fathers take their kids to baseball games. Mine took me to see Ali go fifteen rounds with Frazier. It was my first introduction to the world of professional fighting. I couldn't have been more than eight years old at the time. Far too young to really appreciate what is now known as the Fight of the Century. But I was old enough to develop a great fascination with the sport.

This was the first of many, many bouts to come for me. A gateway into the world of professional fighting. I would soon come to appreciate other forms of it as well. Most notably, Thai Boxing, which for those who don't know, is extremely popular in Southeast Asia and the national sport of Thailand. It's actually referred to as The Art of the Eight Limbs because practitioners are trained to hit their opponent in every which way. If you've never seen one of these fights in person, I highly recommend it.

I have other interests in the fighting sports, such as Sumo Wrestling and the Mixed Martial Arts matches that have become so popular these days. But American and Thai boxing are my two long term passions. I put up this website so that I could write a little something about them form time to time. I hope you enjoy it. But that's enough about me. Let's all just go watch a fight!
